Phil & Nana – Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding

Phil and Nana’s wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs was a day full of beautiful details, pure elegance and sweet romance.

We met up with Nana and her ladies at their suite in the Banff Springs on the morning of the wedding.  They were a bundle of excitement as they helped each get ready for the ceremony, which was to be held at the Rundle Memorial United Church.

True to form Nana was fashionably late – to nobody’s surprise – as her dad walked her down the aisle to meet Phil at the church.  Phil & Nana had one of the most emotional wedding ceremonies you will ever see. The moment she walked through the door, Phil could not hold back the tears.  The tears continued as the couple read the handwritten vows they had written to each other.

The beautiful scenery in Banff is world class, and despite a dreary, raining day the wedding couple and their families rocked the family photo session at Cascade Gardens. One of the highlights of Phil and Nana’s wedding was the vintage 1956 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud they were chauffeured around town in.

Phil & Nana’s elegant reception was hosted in The Mount Stephen Hall at the Fairmont Banff Springs.  Decorated with gold and rose details, lit by candlelight it was an affair fit for royalty.  After touching speeches and a few awesome “Phil-inspired” puns, Phil and Nana got the party started with a beautifully executed first dance. To end the night we stole the happy couple away for a few minutes to captures some night wedding portraits.
