Summer Wedding Snow Valley

Sabrina and Chris have a lot of love to give. Together they have built a beautiful home for themselves, their charming son, Austin. For their summer wedding Snow Valley was the perfect location for a celebration of love and family.

Both Sabrina and Chris love the great outdoors, and what better place to get away from it all than the gorgeous Edmonton river valley.

Snow Valley is a hidden gem nestled in the Edmonton river valley. This beautiful park is home to a bustling ski hill during the winter months, but as soon as the snow melts it is an oasis of green. Snow Valley sits beside the Whitemud Creek park which connects to hundreds of kilometers of the beautiful river valley trail. This lovely location is the perfect place for a summer wedding.

It was important to Sabrina that Austin be involved in the wedding ceremony with his own set of vows. This wedding day was about more than just two people coming together; it was about building a family. Sabrina and Chris had a special pendant made for their son to signify their coming together as a family.

An intimate dinner reception was held at the Snow Valley Lodge. This beautiful and rustic venue is perfect for couples who are looking for a warm and intimate space. The large windows over look the rolling ski hills which are bright green in the summer sun. All of this natural light means that guests have a front row seats for an epic Edmonton sunset.

As the sun set over the city, we stole the newlyweds out to catch the vibrant sunset sky to the west. We love it when we have an opportunity to shoot evening portraits!
