Mountain Engagement Photos

Pamela and Chris are a fun, goofy and totally in love couple who also have an incredible sense of style. Their elegant look set the stage for absolutely stunning mountain engagement photos.

It was a beautiful spring evening when Pamela and Chris met us at Lake Minnewanka to begin their engagement session. We love doing engagement sessions and weddings in the mountains. It is so refreshing to get out of the city and reconnect where things slow down. Banff National Park always offers up stunning vistas and amazing views. For our session, beautiful warm evening light spilled over the mountain ranges and set the perfect backdrop for some very sweet and romantic mountain engagement photos. As part of their engagement session, Pamela and Chris wanted to include the newest member of their family, their Boston Terrier-mix Winston. It is always a special treat when couples bring their furry canine companions along for their engagement session.

As the sun began to dip low we hopped into our cars and chased down the last bit of stunning sunset light. The evening stayed clear and our energetic couple agreed to head back out to Lake Minnewanka for engagement photos with the stars.

We love the opportunity to photograph at night, and this location provided the perfect intimate setting for romantic night portraits. This evening was clear and crisp. Thank goodness we packed some hot chocolate and blankets to keep us cozy as we waited for the stars to come out.
