Canmore Engagement Photos

Canmore engagement photos with Kirsten and Corey just seemed like the perfect fit for this athletic and adventurous couple. This fall Kirsten and Corey moved into their dream home in the beautiful community of Cochrane.

We first met Kirsten and Corey about 7 years ago. We lived beside each other on the same floor of our condo building for years and it was our dogs who first sparked our friendship. Their dog Bean and our dog Bella became fast-friends. This meant that we had an opportunity to meet and hang out with the really awesome couple who lived next door. Over the years we traded dog-sitting, holiday baking and more than a few bottles of wine.

When Corey retired from the military last summer we were heartbroken to find out that they would be moving away to Cochrane. We were sad to be losing our amazing friends and neighbours, but were so excited for the new chapter of their lives. Over the last year we made sure to stay in touch visiting them on our way through Calgary. We were delighted when we heard that Corey (finally) proposed to Kirsten, and we were honoured when they asked us to photograph their wedding.

On a beautiful autumn afternoon we headed out to visit Kirsten, Corey and Bean at their new home just west of Calgary. It was an easy decision to hop in the car and head out to the mountains for their Canmore engagement photos.

Apart from our love of dogs and the great outdoors, we are all absolutely wild about the mountains. Adventurous engagement photos in the mountains are an opportunity for us to share two of our greatest passions. The view of the Three Sisters and the edge of the rocky mountains from the Canmore Nordic Centre is one of the most spectacular backdrops in the province. If you catch the light just right, the sunset will make the mountains shine!
