St Thomas More Wedding
Kelly and Stuart’s St. Thomas More wedding was a beautiful and sweet celebration. This stunning autumn wedding was full of love and laughter and a lot of wet snow!
Start saw his beautiful bride for the first time as she was walked down the aisle of St. Thomas More Church. Surrounded by family and friends, Kelly and Stuart shared their wedding vows and became husband and wife.
Edmonton is well known for its unpredictable weather, but when Kelly and Stuart planned their mid-September wedding, snow was the last thing on their mind. Without skipping a beat, this beautiful couple and their wedding party whole heartedly embraced the weather. A few umbrellas and knitted shawls provided some protection from the snow. These quickly turned into hilarious props for portraits. The roaring laughter keep everyone warm and well distracted.
Kelly and Stuart made a quick stop at Square One coffee shop to warm up with a hot chocolate. This independent coffee shop is a hidden gem and generously hosted the energetic wedding party.
A gorgeous wedding reception was held at the Edmonton Delta South hotel ballroom. Many heartfelt speeches were given in honour of the newlyweds, followed by a light-hearted round of table toasts. As the DJ from Happy Wife, Happy Life kicked up the music, Kelly and Stuart joined by their guests, danced the night away.
Thank you for inviting Deep Blue Photography to capture your St Thomas More wedding!
Kelly and Stuart invited us out to the family farm in Macklin Saskatchewan for their beautiful country engagement photos. The Reichart family farm was a gorgeous backdrop for some sweet and romantic engagement portraits. We were even lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to the family church for a few evening engagement photos as the sunset.
This alone was a wonderful chance to get to know Kelly and Stuart. A few short weeks after their engagement session we received a message from Stuart about a destructive windstorm had torn through the family farm. All people and animals were safe, but the old barn, tree-house and the long windbreak of trees were destroyed. The last photos they have of the area were from their engagement session.
Now these engagement photos mean even more to Kelly, Stuart and their family. You can check them out here.
