Snow Valley Wedding
Paul and Sarah are very cool people and their beautiful Snow Valley wedding was the perfect showcase for all of their awesomeness.
The memory that best begins the story of Paul and Sarah is when we met up for their engagement photos last November. It was cold and snowy outside so we advised that they bring warm jackets and mittens to stay warm. As we all hopped out of our vehicles that cold afternoon we could see that Paul was holding something protectively in his arms. It was brown, fuzzy and kind of looked like an old fur coat. Enter the infamous “Bear Coat”. You can check out Paul and Sarah’s super cute engagement photos here.
Sarah and Paul made sure that their wedding day was full of awesomeness. The ladies gathered at Mousey Brown salon for a morning of champagne and pampering. Meanwhile the gentlemen gathered for gourmet grilled cheese, tomato soup, and a relaxed morning of hanging out before they had to suit-up and head for Snow Valley.
On the bridge at the Whitemud Park, Paul and Sarah shared their first look. Their romantic moment was short lived as their wedding party ambushed them almost immediately with hugs and high-fives.
The beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony was presided over by Paul’s cousin which made the ceremony even more personal. Paul and Sarah’s unity display was a truly unique one and something that we have not seen before. Instead of creating a keepsake of sand or candles they wanted something awesome and kind of nerdy, so they created a unity volcano/science experiment using baking soda and coloured vinegar.
As the reception got started we stole the new Mr and Mrs away for a few photos as the sun set over Snow Valley. As the sun went down the bar opened, the party kicked into high gear, and of course the Bear Coat made an appearance.
Thank you for inviting Deep Blue Photography to be there to capture your beautiful Snow Valley wedding!
