Moonlight Bay Centre Wedding
We fell in love with Tina and Sibasis the first time we spoke with them on the phone. Their fantastic sense of humor and huge hearts made us the perfect match for their Moonlight Bay Centre wedding.
The Moonlight Bay Centre is a very unique outdoor wedding location. Located along the shores of Wabamun lake, this center is owned and operated by the Bissell Centre. The venue hosts camps for low-income families. When not in use, the venue can be rented out for weddings, with all of the revenue going towards the Bissell Centre.
Wabamun Lake was the perfect location for this summery wedding, especially during one of the hottest weekends of the summer.
Tina and Sibasis led with their hearts in planning their wedding. They chose the traditions that meant the most to them, like having their first look as Tina walked up the aisle. They also chose to forgo having a wedding cake. Instead, they provided sun-hats, sunglasses and beach towels for their guests. Tina and Sibasis wanted their wedding to be more than just a single-day event, so many of the guests booked a camp cabin or brought their tents so that they could enjoy the weekend.
Following the ceremony, Tina and Sibasis spent the afternoon catching up with their guests and relaxing by the lake. The newlyweds ventured out in a canoe and took a few minutes to paddle down the beach and soak in the emotions of their wedding day.
For their dinner reception, both Tina and Sibasis changed into gorgeous teal and blue outfits. They waited for all their guests to be seated before making their entrance to thunderous applause.
After dinner and a short dance, guests were invited to change into their camping clothes and pull up a chair around a giant bonfire.
