Greenland Garden Wedding

Frank and Brittany’s Greenland Garden wedding was a gorgeous day with the most wild weather of the summer. If rain on your wedding day is good luck, then this family is set for at least a few generations.

The first time we met Frank and Brittany was for their engagement portraits at Ezio Faraone Park in downtown Edmonton. They brought along their beautiful bunny, Vegita along to take part in their photos. We instantly fell in love with this couple, and I think they liked us too, because they booked us to photograph their wedding!

Frank and Brittany planned for their wedding day to be a relaxed, fun celebration with family and friends. For Brittany this meant brunch at home with her parents and bridesmaids, getting ready and hanging out with Vegita. For Frank, this meant taking his groomsmen to Gentlemens Barber for an authentic straight razor shave.

The day of Frank and Brittany’s wedding, Edmonton experienced one of the most epic monsoon-rain days we have ever seen. Rain was literally coming in sideways. Thankfully the beautiful venue that Frank and Brittany had chosen for their ceremony and reception had a lovely indoor option ready to go. I mean, it was a garden centre, so the entire place is full of flowers. This wedding couple could not have asked for a better rain-out option.

Frank and Brittany were joined by an intimate guest list of family and friends to share their wedding day celebration. These two young love-bunnies wrote their own sweet vows and made sure to share a few giggles as the nerves quickly disappeared.

Due to the rainy weather, Greenland Garden Centre was empty. The empty greenhouse space was perfect for us to explore and take wedding photos. Greenhouse wedding photos are the best – gorgeous flowers and perfect natural light.

We took our chances with the rain in the evening light. Thank you to Frank and Brittany for braving the cold wind, mud puddles and persistent rain. You guys are the coolest.
