Faculty Club Wedding
Kate and Ed are an elegant, sophisticated couple who live for the adventure of travel. Their stunning Faculty Club wedding was a beautiful day full of love.
One of the first things Kate and Ed told us about themselves, was that their third date was a trip to San Francisco. Now, how awesome is that?
It was their love of travel, adventure and one another that brought them together and that led them down the aisle. Kate & Ed’s wedding day was a true Alberta day – an imaginative blend of rain, wind and beautiful warm sunshine. Armed with umbrellas, this wedding party made the best of the weather and helped Kate and Ed to create some very fun and very memorable photographs.
The ceremony and a short reception were held at Edmonton’s St. George’s Anglican Church, which was filled to the rafters with love, family and friends. Ed’s eyes lit up and he even cracked a bit of a nervous smile when the doors of the church opened and his beautiful Kate entered. Their families stood to show their support and upon the pronouncement of the marriage, hundreds of tiny bells were rung in celebration.
Following their portraits at the Alberta Legislature, the wedding party returned to the University of Alberta’s Faculty Club for the wedding reception, dance and some well deserved celebrating!
Congratulations to you both and to your families!
Thank you for inviting Deep Blue Photography to photograph your gorgeous Faculty Club wedding!
Downtown Edmonton offers some really awesome and unique photo opportunities. We were excited to explore this area with Kate and Ed for their summer engagement session.
