Winter Family Portraits

Christen and Joe invited us out to their beautiful St. Albert home for their winter family portraits and to celebrate baby Alicia turning six-months old!

Family portraits in the winter are tough, especially in Edmonton. The weather is often unpredictable and not necessarily ideal for children. We love the idea of having your family photos taken inside your home. For infants and young children this is the most familiar and comfortable place they know. As an added bonus, parents have the knowledge and reassurance that an unlimited supply of clean diapers and clothes stand ready if they need them.

When baby Alicia finally arrived, we captured her newborn family portraits. These very special in home newborn photos were so much fun. You can see Alicia’s newborn photos here!

Now, six months later we caught up with Christen, Joe and Alicia for some winter family portraits. It is hard to believe that Alicia is already six months old. She has already changed so much and developed a very quiet and sweet personality – just like her mom and dad.
