Destination Wedding Photographers Edmonton
Kelly and Kalin’s oceanside destination wedding embraced both the beauty of Mexico’s Mayan Riviera, and the bohemian spirit of a couple crazy in love. We are destination wedding photographers Edmonton, and we loved this wild wedding party!
The first time we met Kelly and Kalin we talked about everything BUT wedding photography. It may sound a bit odd, but it is how we knew that we would be the perfect fit to photograph this couple’s destination wedding at the Azul Sensatori Resort. Their love for their dogs and camping was an instant green flag for us to book them.
Kelly and Kalin wanted their wedding to be more than just a single day to remember. They started the weeklong celebration with a bonfire on the beach on everyone’s first night in Mexico. It was a great way for everyone get introduced and start mingling.
On the wedding day Kelly wore a beautiful knee-length lace dress and crown of roses in her hair. She left Kalin speechless as they met under the palm trees for their first look before the ceremony. Kelly and Kalin spent the afternoon being incredibly sweet in front of the camera. Shortly before sunset they gathered with their family and friends on the beach for a sunset wedding ceremony.
Following an intimate reception dinner Kelly and Kalin joined us for some final night portraits around the resort.
Thank you to Kelly & Kalin for inviting Deep Blue Photography along to capture your epic wedding adventure!
One of our favourite things about destination weddings is having the opportunity to spend more than just one day with the happy couple. Most destination weddings include pre-wedding events, outings or activities that help connect the wedding guests.
The wedding day is often very laid back because the resort handles all of the wedding preparations and details. The happy couple and their guests arrive to find their ceremony location looking amazing and their reception ready for a party.
Following the day of the wedding we love to meet up with the couple and take sunset portraits around the resort. This is an opportunity to explore more unique locations and have some fun in the tropical destination.
