Canmore Winter Engagement Photos

Winter the the mountains is cold, beautiful and absolutely breath taking. Dylan and Taylin’s Canmore winter engagement photos will definitely leave you breathless.

It was a very cold, very snowy afternoon when we met Dylan and his fiance Taylin at Quarry Lake Park in Canmore. This nestled in between the mountain ranges. The backdrop is stunning snowcapped mountains and towering evergreens. On this day we were lucky enough to catch the fluffy snowflakes as they swirled around us.

Dylan and Taylin braved the cold and rocked their classy engagement session. We are so grateful that they pushed on because the snowstorm eventually passed and we had a beautiful golden sunset. Canmore has some fairly extreme and unpredictable weather, especially in the winter. This is perhaps why we love it so much – the ever changing weather makes for really beautiful photographs.

Canmore is so beautiful that we visited a few locations during Dylan and Taylin’s engagement session. The Riders of Rohan look out above Grassy Lakes and the Canmore Nordic Centre is a sight to behold. The narrow pathway follows the edge of the reservoir and is surrounded by towering mountains to one side and a steep drop off down towards town on the other.

There is no shortage of beautiful locations for romantic engagement photos. Winter engagement photos are wonderful because it means that couples get to cuddle even closer.
