Country Engagement Session

Nikita and Brody are two very sweet, very cool people and we are so excited to be photographing their wedding. They invited us out to their family farm for their sweet and super romantic country engagement session.

Located about an hour outside of Edmonton, Brody’s family farm is generations old and steeped in history. You can still see remnants of the old road winding its way to the old homestead buildings, many of which are still standing strong. It was easy to see how Nikita fell in love with this location (and with Brody). Together they have built their own piece of family history. It is the most perfect spot for their upcoming wedding ceremony.

Nikita and Brody gave us a full tour of the property including the spot where they will be having their wedding ceremony in August. The evening was perfect for a stroll down to the creek and across the fields. The light was perfect, the scenery was breath taking and the love, the love was on fire. There was hardly a moment where these two were not holding hand, snuggling or making each other laugh. It was easy to see their love, their trust and their connection. These are the ingredients for an absolutely magical engagement session.

As the sun set over the farm, we took a drive to Nikita and Brody’s favourite spot. It was just down the road and required a short walk through the field, but it was worth it. Dense green farmland spreading out in every direction for miles. These rolling hills lit up under the warm evening light and gave us a spectacular view of the sunset.

It was a beautiful evening for a country engagement session and we are looking forward to the wedding!
