Fairmont Hotel Macdonald Wedding

Wendy and Rob’s elegant Fairmont Hotel Macdonald wedding was an intimate celebration shared with family, friends and their fur-baby Max.

It was a beautiful afternoon ceremony for Wendy and Rob. They gathered with family and friends at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald in Edmonton. The gazebo was the perfect location for a short and sweet wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony all the guests enjoyed cocktails in the garden with the newlyweds.

Having their children, grandchildren and their dog, Max, involved in the wedding ceremony was very important. Their grandson walked Max down the aisle and stood as Wendy and Rob’s ring bearer during the wedding ceremony in the Hotel Macdonald gazebo.

Wendy and Rob wanted their wedding day to be sweet, simple and all about their family. Watching them together you could see their special kind of love. A love that runs deeper than just planning a wedding, theirs is a love that will stand the test of time.

Wendy and Rob hosted their reception on the terrace overlooking the Edmonton river valley. As the sun set over the city, guests were invited to toast the bride and groom.  They gave their best advice for a long and happy marriage and retold some favourite tales.

Their intimate reception was an opportunity for Wendy and Rob to connect with their guests, many of which travelled from across Canada to celebrate.
