Strathcona Park Winter Engagement

We love winter. We love the snow, the crisp blue skies and the cold weather means that couples can snuggle in close for their engagement photos. Laurissa and Matt’s Strathcona Park winter engagement session was a stunning example of the perfect winter day.

This beautiful family of three met us at Edmonton’s Strathcona Science Provincial Park on a bright and sunny evening for their engagement session. Laurissa, Matt and their pup Teddy are the cutest family and this made for the most gorgeous portraits as they all cuddled together.

We love it when couples bring their dog along for their engagement photos. They tend to relax the couple and take a lot of the pressure off of having professional photos done. The couple is able to focus their attention on their pet, relax and enjoy the experience. It also means that the pup steals the snow and gets all of the adoring attention. Dog-parents can just sit back, relax and let their canine companion do all the work!
