Radisson Hotel Wedding
Duy and Rebecca’s Radisson Hotel wedding was a day full of fun and adventure. This wedding day was blessed with love, laughter and an epic Alberta thunderstorm.
Family and friends gathered at the North Pointe Community Church to witness two lovely young souls become husband and wife. This big and beautiful church was filled with love, laughter and music. Rebecca and Duy are both very talented musicians and as part of their wedding ceremony played a special hymn for their guests.
Duy and Rebecca wrote their own personal vows to each other. It is always a very emotional part of the ceremony when the bride and groom read their own vows. These emotions and these moments are what make a ceremony special. We encourage all of our couples to celebrate their wedding the way that they want and to embrace the emotions of the day.
Following the ceremony, the wedding party travelled to Louise McKinney Park for the portrait session. This beautiful, manicured park is nestled on the north shore of the Edmonton river valley. We were surprised by a late afternoon thunderstorm which quickly turned into a torrential downpour. This intense storm gave us the opportunity to capture some very romantic wedding portraits in the rain.
Rebecca changed into a stunning blush gown for the wedding reception. We were able to steal Rebecca and Duy away for a few romantic evening photos as the sun set.
The elegant wedding reception and dance were hosted in the Jubilee Ballroom. Guests were treated to dinner, speeches and a night full of dancing.
