Outdoor Summer Wedding
Rachel and Cody had an elegant and rustic outdoor summer wedding in Clymont, Alberta. Surrounded by family and friend, this country wedding brought together family, friends and the entire community.
At our first official meeting to discuss wedding photography we knew right away that Cody and Rachel were planning an epic wedding. The heart of their wedding day was going to be just that, heart. They held hands and smiled at each other while chatting about their wedding. Moreover, this simple affection so easily showed just how much these two care about each other. Cody and Rachel are in love and their big day was going to be about that love and the coming together of two families.
Rachel & Cody’s Wedding Day
Cody and Rachel’s engagement session took place at their country home. The couple wanted to include their big goofy lab and their horses. Cody and Rachel are beautiful humans, don’t get us wrong, but their miniature horse, Sunny definitely stole the show. Click here to check out this engagement photos with horses.
The wedding ceremony was held on the grassy lawn of the Clymont Hall, backed by a big, beautiful gazebo. It was the perfect day for a wedding. The weather was perfect, the ceremony was full of love and the bridesmaids and groomsmen were ready to party.
Cody’s family are potato serious potato farmers and this country wedding definitely included freshly harrowed fields and a spit-polished tractor. The portraits taken on and around the family farm which provided a classic country landscape. Thank you to the Kirkland family for their very generous hospitality.
The newly renovated Clymont Hall hosted the wedding reception and dance. The beautiful and spacious venue was filled with romantic string lights and a beautiful handmade marquee. Cody and Rachel slipped away into the evening for some very romantic nighttime wedding photos. The cloudy sky turned the most brilliant blue and was a stunning backdrop for epic wedding portraits.
Cody and Rachel partied the night away with their family and friends. The wedding couple literally shut-down the Clymont Hall and closed out their wedding reception.
