Jasper Engagement Adventure Session

Jeremy and Thy’s Jasper engagement adventure session was an epic afternoon that took us through the wildest weather the Rocky Mountains could throw at us. All the while Thy and Jeremy looked absolutely stunning.

The afternoon skies were quickly darkening as we met Thy and Jeremy in beautiful Jasper National Park. The wind whipped around us at the start of the session as we caught a glimpse of the storm that was headed our way. Not wanting to miss the opportunity for a dramatic display of weather we quickly hopped into our cars and headed for higher ground. No more than 5 minutes after we reached our next spot the rain started to fall – then it started to pour. Keeping true to their adventurous style this couple embraced the rain and wind and the crazy dramatic photographs that it produced.

After waiting out the worst of the storm, Thy and Jeremy changed into their casual clothes for some portraits in the slightly more moderate pouring rain. Our persistence paid off when we were surprised with a gorgeous golden hour and bright blue skies that highlighted the rugged landscape and the romance of these two sweethearts. 

We love it when couples are willing to take a risk, to try something crazy or to step outside the norm of traditional engagement photos. The results are often breathtaking and allow us as photographers to really flex our creative muscles. Thankfully, Thy and Jeremy are adventurous souls with a love that is inspiring. It is their connection is what really made these photos come alive.
