Farm Engagement Photos
When it comes to engagement session, we always encourage our couples to choose a location that means something to them. This very special farm engagement session took place on Stuart’s family farm in Macklin Saskatchewan.
Kelly and Stuart wanted their engagement session to take place in a place that means a lot to them. While country engagement photos are not all that uncommon, it was a special request to travel to Saskatchewan for this very special session.
The drive to Macklin Saskatchewan in the middle of the summer takes you right through the heart of prairie farmland. The fields are green and gold and the skies stretch on forever. The Reichert family farm is a hidden gem of history, family and a whole lot of love.
As part of Stuart and Kelly’s summer farm engagement session, we took a drive out to the local family church. The beautiful St. Anthony’s Church was built in 1912 and stands today as a historic and religious landmark for this rural community. The wide open skies of the prairies did not disappoint. We were treated to beautiful golden light and an epic sunset.
Thank you to Kelly and Stuart for inviting Deep Blue Photography to capture your summer farm engagement photos.
For most couples, their engagement session is the first time that they will have professional photos taken. It is totally normal to feel a bit nervous or unsure about what to expect during your session. The most important thing to remember is that your engagement photos are about capturing that special connection between two people in love.
So ignore us and our cameras, focus your attention on the one you love most. Relax and have fun, just think of it as a date night out with your significant other.
