Egges Barn Wedding
Nicole and Ryan’s autumn Egges Barn wedding was a day full of love and pure magic.
Fort Edmonton park is nestled in the heart of Edmonton’s river valley and is the perfect location for an autumn wedding. The weather has started to cool down in the capital and with that the leaves have all started to turn a beautiful shade of red and gold. The magic of the season fit perfectly with Nicole and Ryan’s very whimsical wedding.
Family and friends filled every seat in St. Michael’s Church to witness the marriage of these two beautiful souls. Together with their two little girls, Nicole and Ryan became husband and wife, united in love and laughter.
We absolutely love photographing weddings at Fort Edmonton Park. This sprawling historic park has everything a wedding celebration could ever need. The stunning Hotel Selkirk is a fully functioning hotel with banquet venues and an old-timey bar. There are indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception venues along with acres of gorgeous river valley scenery. This autumn afternoon did not disappoint.
Nicole and Ryan arranged for a beautiful horse drawn carriage to carry their wedding party through the Fort Edmonton Park grounds. As the newlyweds explored the farm and fort they had an opportunity take some photos with the local piggies.
The romantic evening wedding reception was held at Egges Barn. A lovely loft lit with romantic lanterns and filled with laughter. Nicole and Ryan made their entrance to the applause of family and friends. The evening included a very special Cadillac Ranch line dance in honour of the bride’s late father.
Congratulations Nicole and Ryan!
