Edmonton Destination Wedding Photographers
Krystina and Devin’s Jamaica destination wedding was held at the beautiful Grand Bahia Principe Resort in Runaway Bay Jamaica. We love this couple to pieces and were so excited to be their Edmonton destination wedding photographers.
Shaded by lofty palm trees and a lovely ocean breeze, the beach gazebo was the perfect spot for our bride to walk down the aisle and marry the man of her dreams. Keeping in the spirit of Jamaican celebration a steel drum band provided the musical soundtrack for both the ceremony and champagne reception.
To say that Krystina and Devin are well loved would be an understatement. They had more than 70 guests travelling from across Canada and the United States to share in their wedding. This wedding party took the resort (and the swim-up bar) by storm! Krystina and Devin designed their own wedding logo which they had printed on thermos-cups, making it very easy for all of the guests to get to know each other very quickly. By the end of the second day we were all family.
The wedding day was bright and beautiful and blue. Devin and his 8 groomsmen were a nervous bundle of excited energy as they eagerly awaited the ceremony to begin. As the guests were seated and the steel drum band started to play, it was as if the world fell away and all he saw was her. In a gorgeous flowing white dress Krystina stepped out onto the pathway and was walked down the aisle by her father and 94 year-old grandfather.
Krystina and Devin met us for their wedding portraits in the early evening as the sun began to set over Runaway Bay and the private wedding reception was hosted at the Dolce Vita Restaurant. It was after midnight when the party moved to the resort night club, but we managed to steal the happy couple away for a few more photos under the stars.
Thank you for inviting Deep Blue Photography, Edmonton destination wedding photographers to be part of your beautiful Jamaican wedding!
