FAQs

Who will be taking our pictures?
We will – Sunny & Jess!  We are not a traditional studio  in that we do not use associates. We shoot all of our weddings together. The reason we are so good at what we do is because we love photographing weddings we love doing it together.

Do you do multi-day, ethnic or destination wedding photography?
Hellz yeah we do! We photograph every type of wedding for anyone who is in love! Our own wedding was a fusion destination wedding and by the end of 2017 we will have photographed weddings in Costa Rica, Mexico, Jamaica, Antigua, Banff, Jasper, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Toronto, and throughout Alberta.

If you are looking to a pair of fun, creative awesome destination wedding photographers for a wedding outside of Edmonton, just give us a shout and let us know the details!

How do we book you?
We like to meet all of our couples in person or via Skype prior to booking them. This helps us ensure that we are the right fit for you and you are the right fit for us, so please contact us to set up a consultation!

Unfortunately due to the number of inquiries we receive each year we are unable to meet with or book all couples who inquire with us. The best thing to do is view our website and send us a message if you are interested in working with us.

We require a 25% non-refundable booking retainer to reserve your wedding date.
Roughly 4 months prior to your wedding 50% of the wedding package is due.
Following the wedding, when you receive your images from us, the remaining 25% balance on the package is due.

When and how many photos do we receive?
We will typically have your wedding images ready for you no later than 6 weeks following your wedding date, and do not cap the number of photos you receive.  Most couples will receive between 500 and 800 images for a standard full day wedding.
Do you edit the photos?
Our approach to “editing” or post processing is fairly simple.  In 30 years when you are showing your photos to your family we want them to be able to recognize you.  We want our couples to look as naturally beautiful in their photographs as they did on their wedding day, so we do not utilize fashion or glamor photography editing tricks like airbrushing, skin smoothing or figure modification. We will clean up zits, pimples, or mosquito bites, just let us know any concerns you have and we will do our best to work with you.

We also do not use standard cut and paste filters to make all of your images follow the latest trends – which currently is “vintage” or “pastel”. Trends come and go and 30 years from now you may not like that every picture looks desaturated or has a weird pink tone to it. They may look good in magazines and on Facebook, but we question whether they will in 50 years when you are sharing your wedding photos with your grandchildren.
