Ian & Paige – Azul Fives Destination Wedding In Mexico

Ian & Paige’s Azul Fives destination wedding in Mexico was a great wedding for all their family and friends from Canada. Despite a venue change because of inclement weather at the last minute the wedding turned out beautiful!  This resort is along the Mayan Riviera in Mexico where white sand beaches run all along the coast.

After getting ready photos in the morning, Paige and Ian chose to have a private first look before their ceremony.  We found a private spot in the garden area where we could hide Ian, and then waited for Paige to come see her groom for the first time.

With a ceremony time later in the afternoon, we decided to get all the bridal party and bride & groom pictures taken before the ceremony.  This left Ian & Paige plenty of time to enjoy the cocktail hour with their family and friends after the ceremony.

The private reception was held inside the french restaurant La Brasserie, where everyone could enjoy some nice air conditioned comfort on oversized plush lounge booths, while dancing the evening away.

After the reception everyone headed to the resort club Sky Bar to continue dancing and partying.

Congratulations Paige and Ian, and thank you for inviting Deep Blue Photography along to capture your beautiful Azul Fives destination wedding.

Thanks so much Ian & Paige for an awesome week and an amazing wedding!

Azul Fives Destination Wedding

This was our first wedding we photographed at the Azul Fives in Mexico, but we certainly hope it is not our last. It was a lovely resort with enough amenities for large group weddings. At the time we were there the resort was doing renovations on a number of the rooms, which was a little inconvenient. Other than that everyone had a great time. The food was very good, the bars were well tended. There were two lazy river pools, one main pool by the beach, and very good access to the ocean.
The beach location for a wedding may be a bit cramped, but the garden area and sky lounge looked like fantastic spots. You can’t control the weather though, so be prepared for anything!

Feel free to contact us if you are planning an Azul Fives Destination Wedding! Whether it is to book us or simply to ask a few questions about the resort. We love talking weddings with happy couples!
